Linksys is a leading technology brand for home networking solutions. They are consistent winners of the prestigious 'Best of CES award' for their continuous innovation and reliable products.
We designed the award winning 2020 & 2017 Linksys CES booths. 2020 showcased their innovative software technology "Linksys Aware"—a pioneer in motion sensing WiFi, and 2017 showcased their feature product Velop.
We also designed the packaging for Velop and refreshed the Linksys website to appeal to a younger demographic.
The concept for 2020 was a fully experiential, fully immersive exploratorium. With the overwhelming amount of products and information at the conference, we wanted to give attendees an opportunity to stop, take a break and interact with our booth.
With Linksys Aware being a brand new, revolutionary motion-sensing technology, we needed to find a way to visually explain the software without bogging people down with the backend specifics. We created a dual-screen LED projection mapped portal with animated particles to represent WiFi. As attendees passed through the particles would cluster together displaying their silhouette and triggering a motion alert to the nearby monitor.
